Dr Patricia McVeagh is a Consultant Paediatrician and well-known children's health advocate. Patricia's areas of expertise include children's health and early childhood development.

She is on the Visiting Medical Staff of The New Children's Hospital, Westmead, Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, and the Tresillian Family Care Centres. She is a Clinical Lecturer in infant nutrition at both the University of NSW and Sydney University.

She is a co-author of Growing Healthy Children, a book for parents on children's nutrition. She is a popular national and international speaker on children's health issues, particularly nutrition.

Patricia is also the Community Representative and one of three members of a panel appointed by the Commonwealth Government to monitor compliance with an Agreement between the Manufacturers and Importers on the Marketing of Infant Formula in Australia.

She is the Royal Australasian College of Physician's representative on the Administrative Body for the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative in NSW.
